So I was a lil nervous since well they are lasering the goods but the tech who is an RN was soo sweet and quick. It did sting a lil but nothing too bad. Im very happy thus far, they also booked the next appointment then and there which is good bc I hate having to call places to schedule the next appointment . i followed that up with the i did the laser to stimulate collegen production and finished with the hydrofacial to cleanse the pores! my face was lifted and cleansed and very happy!

Today was my first apointment after i purchased a lifebooker deal, i have to say the service was fairly good, the lady in the front was super nice the office is very modern as well some people are complaining about suite 123 im guessing its the old office? well they are in suite 118 now and it looks excellent to me. Susan at Maya Medical is fabulous and I am a huge fan of her Microcurrent treatment. Even after one session my skin looked radiant and felt instantly smoother and softer to touch. It glowed but was not red and I could immediately reapply my make up. It was quite addictive because it felt so nice!
Susan is very professional and informative, giving me plenty of tips to keep my skin looking good including some very effective cheap home remedies to help other problem areas.

I have been going to Maya Medical for a couple of months now. The waiting room is very cute and quaint. The receptionist, Suzy, is very sweet and helpful with any questions.

I have gotten laser hair removal done by all three nurses at the office. They are all friendly and efficient. They answered all of my questions completely. They use the Candela Gentle YAG laser and it is absolutely amazing!! The laser doesn’t hurt at all! Here is info from Candela’s website about the machine: The GentleYAG effectively treats all skin types, including tanned skin, offering unmatched treatment capabilities in permanent hair reduction. Treat patients year-round with GentleYAG’s 1064 nm wavelength, multiple spot sizes, variable pulse durations and Candela’s patented cryogen cooling system (DCD™) for maximum patient comfort and safety.
They have the best price deals around for laser, you simply can NOT beat their deals. Every month they have deals on all of their services, not just laser! I’ve also noticed some people talking about the time between sessions, so I looked up the normal ‘down time’ for hair removal sessions. Treatments should be schedule 4-6 weeks apart in order to catch the hair follicles in the active growing phase. Going every week does absolutely nothing to speed up the process. I’ve never had a problem getting my next appointment. They are only closed on Sundays and are open until 6:30-7 during the week. Granted Saturday’s get filled up quickly, but you can schedule 2-3 appointments ahead of time.

All in all, my experience here has been great. The staff are friendly and helpful and put me at ease each time I go in.

I love the new office…. elegant, upscale and has a very zen like spa feel to it. The staff were very professional and explained everything to me as we went along which made me feel very comfortable about the whole experience.

I am terrified of botox but also hate my wrinkles so on their recommendation I tried some laser and micro current treatment.

The results….. I honestly look 10 years younger and nobody would know for a second that I was getting something done as you leave the office looking as fresh as a daisy and wake up with younger, smoother skin!! 5 stars!!

i went all out & had a really really fun full day of beauty at the maya med spa and had a great time being pampered by their friendly staff.

LOL!!! and to top it all off- i had a spray tan!

it was an awesomely fun day– and i looked and felt great afterwards!!!

i highly reccomend the maya spa for your own day of pampering and beauty!!!

I’m at that age where I’m starting to age in the face. It ain’t too cool!

The wonderful ladies at Maya rejuvenated me with a vitamin mask facial treatment and the age-reversing/wrinkle-zapping laser collagen stimulator.

Both treatments combined for less than 1 hour of my time and were peaceful and relaxing. Best of all, I look & feel better about this stupid aging problem

I too purchased my laser on Life Booker Loot and have been very pleased how great my results been so far! I’m on my 6th treatment and my hair is not really growing anymore. When I first visited Maya Medical Center I was a little skeptical because there first office was small and very cheesy looking BUT they were in the middle of moving so I will give them that. I first had a consultation with Joy and she thoroughly explained the procedure and how it all works. My first time getting the procedure done was painless and super fast! Joy made me feel very comfortable which made things easier. I started noticing results within the first two weeks which was great! I would highly recommend going with Joy! She is quick and makes sure she covers the appropriate areas perfectly and she is very sweet! As far as the receptionists go they are OK : / They are a little snobby and don’t acknowledge you when you walk in. The office is not very warm at all but whatever. Other then that I am a happy camper! LOL The only reason why I signed up was because it was affordable, the place is clean and Joy does a great job!

Absolutely wonderful! With slight apprehension I purchased a Lifebooker coupon for laser hair removal and it has to be one of my best finds (I’m admittedly a Lifebooker, Living Social, Groupon addict.) I mean seriously, sometimes when purchasing a coupon you arrive at your “questionable” destination and you’re left wishing you’d booked your appointment during broad daylight. And when it comes to playing with tools that can potentially burn your skin, in hindsight, I wonder how I ever took the leap of faith. So, it’s with an immense sense of relief that I recommend Maya Medical.

Maya Medical Center is located in Toluca Lake and there’s plentiful street parking. Be sure not to park in their cash-only parking lot as Maya Medical doesn’t validate.

It was easy to book an appointment. Receptionists for the most part always answer, and when they don’t, my messages are always returned within 1-2 business days (if not the same day). I can’t say the women at the front desk are necessarily genuinely ecstatic to see their clients, but they’re polite enough and get the job done.

The office building is decent, and the waiting room for Maya Medical is clean, modern, has fresh water and overall is aesthetically pleasing. I’d liken it to a more spa-like atmosphere than a stark, white medical office. The area where you receive treatments are more like medical offices which I find comforting.

I’ve had two technicians help me and both were equally nice, however, my favorite is Joy. She seemed especially thorough and was more personable. Also note, tip is not included and can only be given in cash.

As for the procedure, so incredibly easy! They use Candela Gentle YAG lasers. Now, I’ve experienced other types of lasers and this has BY FAR been the easiest procedure. You’re literally in and out in 15 minutes and the laser is painless. (Then again, I have the ability to book appointments mid-day in the week which could affect wait time in my favor). For those who understand, it hurts three times more to get eyebrows threaded or waxed. I know I sound like a paid salesperson, but I’m all about sharing the freedom from unwanted hair! =p My only regret is, I wish I was a new client so I’d still be eligible to purchase more coupons!

All I can say is THANK YOU! I had 2 series of Laser Hair Removal -a series of 8 at 2 other hair removal centers in Studio City & it was painful plus the hair came back. A friend suggested I try this new spa in Toluca Lake and I can’t stop telling people about this place. I had my Bikini & Face lasered & it didn’t come back plus it didn’t hurt. I never wrote a review but this place is FANTASTICK!!!! I’m buying all my friends Gift Certificates for Christmas. They get an A Plus Plus- Try it you will love it!

I accidently with to suit 123 when they had moved to 118, that was not mentioned but thats understanding! Susan is such an amazing sweet woman, shes just something else! her and her ways of talking, i feel like she’s just a little girl LOL she has the perfect office now, it’s much bigger , smells fresh! theres always NEW pastry everytime i walk in her office. their RN is just as wonderful ! she finishes me in 10 MINUTES! when usually it takes me 20 minutes. results are amazing, i wish i knew maya medical sooner!

They also have A treatment called MICROCURRENT! now that treatment is something else, its a facelifting treatment and its great!! i did it twice and i see a big difference on my face ! MAYA MEDICAL i also give you 5 stars cause you keep your business going and im loving it.

This is the best laser spa I have ever been to. Being an actress sometimes I have more money than other times. This spa will help one solve their problems and is very affordable. I read some nasty comments on this salon and i think this is a competetor who is acting with jeoulousy. I love this spa and it will be featured on a big tv show soon..xoxoxox

It’s true, Maya is not the nicest looking office, nor do I like to smell their lunches fresh out of the microwave, but their service and prices are great. I also bought a coupon for laser hair removal and after three treatments it’s working really well; My underarms are completely done after two visits. The nurse tech is sweet and professional, the treatment rooms very clean and the front desk staff has been really nice to me (true they are young and have not been in the workforce long, but they are kind and trying their best. They book the appointments 4/5 weeks apart because it is BAD for your skin to have them closer together. They have been great about re-scheduling, I had a sick child and couldn’t make it they put me in for the next business day. I see that some were not happy with the space between appointments or what constituted and “small area” vs. a larger area. If you are not sure you should always call the business before making the purchase. Most places will explain very well and are happy to accommodate you. The main idea is they want your business for long term. I am thrilled I bought this deal and am so looking forward to NEVER shaving my legs, arms and bikini again!!

beautiful! walking into their office almost made me forget why i was there. i was there to get laser hair removal. walking in, i was really nervous. but talking to the nurse, she made me feel really comfortable. she assured me that it’ll be tolerable and if not, she can always either slow down the procedure or lower the settings. NOT BAD AT ALL! totally worth the price! it’s been about 4 weeks since my last visit and i can already see a HUGE difference. can’t wait to go back!

The staff is friendly, i book my next 2 appointments every time & they don’t mind it. Always all me a day before & an hour before my appointment to confirm, which is great for me since my friend drives me here & it’s a reminder. I’ve had 2 nurses so far, both great. did miss a spot on my inner Brazilian bikini but i told her & she hasn’t missed it since. Been here 4 times, very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

My friend waits for me somewhere & doesn’t pay for parking, only takes about 10-15 minutes. Never more & i hardly wait more then 4 minutes.

I purchased a Dealfind offer for laser hair removal and was able to get an appointment right away. I am already going on my 3rd session and it has been AWESOME! I had never done laser hair removal before so I called and asked a lot of questions, which they answered with no problems. Never did I feel like I was an annoyance by the staff for my repeated calls with questions. The nurse Joy who does the laser hair removal is AMAZING she explained everything to me before we got started and while she was doing the lasering. I am getting a lot of places lasered and I have always been treated with respect. I am a very happy customer and WILL continue to be a long time customer. I am also very happy with the laser hair removal results and just wonder why I never did it before.

i am in love with this medical center. i had a face full of acne back in september and in just a few short treatments it completely cleared up. the entire staff is so friendly and full of energy. it feels like a spa getaway every time i go. the nurses are so sweet and they make you feel comfortable and at home. the receptionist is so sweet and understanding. i see a new difference in my skin after every treatment. i would recommend this center to everyone!!! not to mention the amazing prices and promotions they have!

Had my first treatment at Maya Medical Center last week It’s a small office, and therefore the specialist who works on you is an expert. I work in the entertainment industry, so a healthy young-looking complexion is very important to the first impression I make on people. The microcurrent treatment is relaxing and stimulates your facial muscles at the same time. I would never use botox or surgery on my face. This treatment however seemed completely natural, and I did notice a difference when I got home. I’m going back for another treatment next month.

Because your skin’s appearance and health is very important in this industry that I’m in, I want to let everyone to have the chance to see what the new laser fad is all about since I’ve had such amazing results with it. I’m 32 years old and never had Botox or injections of any kind, yet I look like I’m 22 and owe a lot of it to laser rejuvenation plus eating healthy.

I have seen a MAJOR difference in my skin since doing this and not many people know about it. I have never gotten injections of anything and this keeps me from wrinkles. There is no down time. Your skin is NOT red after and you can go and put makeup on straight after, or even get a spray tan that is also offered here. I am a person who use to always get Botox, fillers, Retinae, peels, etc. I have also spent thousands of dollars on many elite skin care products over the last 16 years just to find that none of it REALLY makes a difference. Since 2 years ago, I decided to live a more healthy and natural life all around. I do not put toxins in my body or on my skin when at all possible. That is why I am in heaven now that I have discovered the treatments offered at Maya Medical Center. I would never do Botox again when I can get the MicroCurrent Treatment done to my face. It is a very relaxing experience and there is absolutely no pain. I have had 2 treatments so far and cannot believe how the deepest wrinkle between my eyes has improved drastically. My overall skin is “plumped” in a good way. I recommend saving your money by skipping those regular facials and spend it on this treatment instead. You will get way more for your money! I am also having hair removal done at Maya Medical Center. It is not too painful and it goes by very quickly. I plan to visit this place for all my skin care needs.
